张向武 (President)

Zhang Xiangwu received his bachelor’s degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1997 and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2001. He is currently Associate Dean, Alumni Distinguished Professor, and Distinguished Scholar at the College of Textiles, North Carolina State University.

Xiu Aijun, Vice President of the Third Term Council.

张欣欣

Zhang Xinxin received her B.S. in Biological Science and Technology (1993) and M.S. in Biophysics (1996) from Zhejiang University. She earned an M.S. in Genetics from NCSU in 2002 and later worked at RTI International and FMC Corporation before joining BASF in 2016, focusing on biological formulation R&D.

郑乃权

Dr. Zheng Naiquan (bio as in previous terms): Tenured professor at UNC Charlotte, directing the Biomechanics Laboratory. Founding council member (2012) and re-elected.

霍明旭

张文博

Zhang Wenbo graduated from ZJU in 2011 (Optoelectronics). Earned M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NCSU in 2012. Joined DNV GL in 2013, working in energy sector consulting.

周斌斌

Zhou Binbin graduated from ZJU in 2009 with a B.S. in Applied Biological Science. Completed Ph.D. in Crop Science at NCSU in 2015. Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Omicsoft.

陈玮珏

Chen Weijue studied Agricultural Resources and Environment at ZJU (2010–2013) via the “3+X” program and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Microbiology at NCSU Department of Plant and Microbial Biology.

孟垚

Meng Yao graduated with an M.S. from ZJU College of Electrical Engineering in 2015 and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at NCSU FREEDM Center.

Zhang Ling, Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering at NCSU (graduated ZJU Automation in 2014).
